Welcome to the KO Telemedicine Website!

KO Telemedicine will improve health for all First Nations Communities through a sustainable First Nations Telemedicine Program that is holistic, community driven and culturally appropriate.

KO Telemedicine (KOTM) delivers clinical, educational and administrative services via videoconferencing and advanced information communication technologies to First Nation communities in Ontario.

With the second wave of the H1N1 pandemic being over in our communities, KOTM has decided to rescind its Epidemic / Pandemic Plan.  In the event that the 3rd wave affects our communities, it will be re-implemented at that time to ensure the continuation of its essential services.  In the meantime, management and staff will continue to meet regularly to address any H1N1 situations that may arise.  If you would like to learn more about the flu, and how it affects First Nations, please click here.

First Nations Tele-Visitation

"When visitor restrictions due to Flu outbreaks are in place you may be unable to enter the hospital to visit in person. Whatever the reason you can't be there, Tele visits can help you stay connected while your family member is in hospital."

Family visits between in-patients and their family members can be arranged with a Tele-visit Site in your community
